Had a confusing misunderstanding. I brought my daughter in for a FREE consultation. They took pictures at their office then conducted a virtual consultation. Everyone was very polite and the process went smoothly. They followed up and I let them know we had decided to go with another orthodontist based on price. Then I got a letter from my insurance – they had tried to submit two claims for $450 and $1,000 and had filed the claims as if we had decided to use their service. Update: Sunset called me to say they had just submitted paperwork to the insurance company to confirm how much the insurance company would potentially paid. Not sure who made the error.
